HBO
Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen.

In the newest trailer for "Game of Thrones," Tyrion Lannister warns of the "Seven Kingdoms united in fear of Tywin Lannister."
But in fact, unity and peace are not imminent for the characters of creator George R. R. Martin's fantasy world: Season three of the HBO epic promises to be the bloodiest yet.
"How long does it go on?" Tyrion asks his sister about the wars plaguing the world of Westeros.
"Until we've dealt with all our enemies," responds Cersei. ?
Their foes are many, from the Wall to Essos -- which Daenerys Targaryen is conquering with the help of her fiery and formidable, grown-up dragons. (Plus: Bears!)
And the nasty King Joffrey isn't doing the Lannisters any favors.
"I am the king!" proclaims the sadistic teen. "Everyone is mine to torment."
Maybe not everyone. Remember, the night is dark and full of terrors that not even the young king can imagine.
'Game of Thrones' returns Sunday, March 31 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
